If your Ascendant is either Aries or Libra, then your 8th-lord in such a position will act more act as Ascendant-lord situated in own house in Ascendant. In such case, you will fortunate in all your affairs in general and your longevity will be high. But if your Ascendant is Taurus or Cancer or Virgo or Scorpio or Sagittarius or Aquarius, then your 11th-lord will be a natural benefic planet; then your earnings will be ever-increasing steadily and gradually.

If your Ascendant is Sagittarius, then the 12th-lord will be the 5th-lord also; in the 2nd it will be exalted and will give 'Dhana Yoga' results; you will have influx of wealth and will be very happy. Otherwise, this is an unfavourable combination and gives rise to unfavourable 'Dainya Yoga' as the 12th-lord which signifies losses is never desirable in the 2nd which is the house of wealth. However, if the 2nd-lord is well-placed and if a natural benefic planet is situated in the 2nd or the 12th or aspecting either of these two houses, then the results will be improved. If Jupiter influences the 2nd house by position or aspect, then some member of your family might go to a distant place or a foreign country for residing there for long; if Venus influences the 2nd house, then marriage-ceremony may be the reason for such 'leaving'. If your 2nd-lord is a natural benefic planet, it will give you good eye-sight and will make your speech pleasing -- if there is no contrary combination present in your chart. But if the 2nd-lord is a natural malefic planet, then for obtaining favourable results, we would have to check for the presence of beneficial planetary combinations involving the 2nd house and it's lord.
